10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the FULL armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
RIGHT MISTAKES
Just wanna share an interesting conversation between a mom and her daughter, quoted from the movie '13 going on 30' starred by Jennifer Garner. It speaks alot!
Daughter: Do you ever have any regrets in your life?
Mom: No, not really.
Daughter: But haven’t you made mistakes before? Huge mistakes and you wish you could turn back time?
Mom: No, not at all.
Daughter: Why?
Mom: Because… I wouldn’t know how to make things right!
That's true isn't it. If we never make mistakes in life, we'll never learn something new! They are stepping stones to our growth. Whether you're a leader or not, we're all bound to make wrong decisions one way or another, but there is nothing to be ashamed and afraid of! One mistake, learn from it. Commit it again, try again! But of course, we don't take it for granted, but sincerely want to grow out of it. Sense that some of us may be 'trapped' by our past mistakes, but if you've repented, move on. God forgives! But if you haven't done so, what are you waiting for? Live a guilty-free life! :)
ONE LIFE TO GIVE
Something else I wanna share... read the following extracted partial SMSes by Shushan AKA Susan with me:
Me: Why your replies so short one... Later i sensitive and emo arh... Hahaha! Ended school?
Susan: Lols it is because my massage not long that is why my massage is short. You emo arh. That's good lei haha. Yeah ended school already. This one long enough? Hahas
Me: SUSAN! What's wrong with your ENGLISH?! It's not massage, but MESSAGE! ...
Susan: Aiya 1 letter only...
HAHAHA! Good thing she learnt from her mistake already, see, it links to the previous paragraph on 'Right Mistakes'. If she's never corrected, she'll suffer worse if she spells it this way in O'levels! Anyway, the point I want to bring across here is simple, one life means alot.
1. One letter in a word can change the entire meaning of the sentence.
2. One of you can change the eternity of your friend's/family member's life.
3. One of you can change the destiny of your school.
4. One of you can change the youth in Singapore.
5. One of you can change the world!
Do you believe, you can be that 'One'?
'OBSERVATION TEST'
Keep in mind the 'Observation Test' you girls did during your recess time?
The response came back loud and clear: Many are living life aimlessly!
With all the gossipping, loneliness, vulgarities... Definitely not living life to the fullest...
Thanks to your faithfulness, I hope it stirs burden to the lost, and inspire yourself to work hard to claim back these souls for Jesus!
RENDITION IS HEREEEEEEE!!!
