A-MUST-READ-POST!!
Ah! I'm still so high up with Rendition today! How did you girls find it? I had lots of laughter & fun today. Alrighttttt! Just wanna post up on somethings that happened today. Yea! Firstly i think its really thank God that i could make it at the last minute, yes yes as most of you may know i actually escape the 7 days blah blah blah. Y'know as flo forward the text that dennis loh typed, I was encouraged to keep praying for the visitors & that i knew prayer is important, really important, not only did i actually prayed for Ea1, i kept all my brothers & sisters of East in prayer too + i did pray for the whole production team as well. (I know its kinda funny but.. read on) I had the urge to keep them in prayers, i can't possibly help them out physically but i'm definitely able to help them spiritually. Results were seen today, with all performers standing on stage with great faith & a heart that desire, a heart that cries "God be with us" and He really did. I'm sure if you were to go around asking anyone on stage today, their reply would be "Thank God that He was with us and that we were able to do it" This is something everyone of us should learn from. To always put God first, say if someone said you're smart, what would your reply be? Will it be like "Ohwell! Thanks" or "Yea thank God He gave me the wisdom!" you decide.
As i didn't have any visitors today i helped with minyi's. Mannnnn we both had a hard time, thru out the entire Rendition, the girls could only talk talk talk. It was pretty much irritating, but still they're our visitors. So i told God this "God! I'm doing this for you! Please keep the girl quiet, like stop her from talking!" ah! Thankfully God understands & she kept quiet for at least 5 mins. Heh!
Apart from this. I think there are a few things we really got to take note of.
1) Urgency, moving from place to place. Something can be done here, we really got to show urgency. Really, no kidding. We have been talking about urgency since unstoppable till now (Evidence: Checklist at the left side bar) I know we can do better than today. Like how we walked from somerset to nexus, we were separated.
2)Mix around & not to stick with the same people. Reminder: We're still doing it again today, ah as we had a few visitors from our group, we need everyone's help to play apart, not only the leaders but everyone else too. It was tough for me to handle 2 visitors at the start since minyi had to handle another 1, & i could really appreciate help then. I really hope to see more of us stepping out off our comfort zone. We shouldn't hear excuses like"huh? i don't know what to talk to them about" or "i'm sick" Hey! I was stuck a few times when talking to them & i was sick too!
3)We could have been more excited for today's service. Remember flo ban emo-ness the night before. I still see emo people. Ah!
I think as a group we really got to support each other, we can't rely on only the coreteam or mfls. Today was lack of support. Lack of support talking to the visitors. Yes i know you girls would wanna catch up on the week but there's always time for it after service! :) As a group, let's change together. But it starts with you, it starts with you stepping out your comfort zone! :D
